Day 3 completed – 81.4 miles but ascent of 2,349 metres so a bit of a killer. He got 3 ferries today. Started at 8.30 from Lyme Regis and arrived at the campsite at St Ann’s Chapel, Bigbury at 6pm. We met him for half an hour at lunchtime at Paignton seafront.
Very windy and quite chilly today, too windy to put the awning up on the Motorhome so he’s in the tent tonight. At least it hasn’t rained yet!! Some of the Devon roads are a bit of a challenge in the Motorhome!!
